Wiley Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 thats what i thought a dolls house sized one, quiet possile a dovescote?
pigeonpete Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 looks very well built dont get me wrong, but what you planning on keeping in there?? and for what purpose? all the best with it though,
Guest IB Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 No offence, but I think it's a scale model, and as a model, excellent. If it was a pigeon loft with aviary, then the joint wall should really be open, mesh, rather than solid, and the ridge open for ventilation, rather than closed, with ventilators all along the top of the side and back walls. Not sure the 'stilts' would stand up to constant use either.
REDROCKET Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 can we have some positive comments about this guys hut now maybe a bit of advise on how to make this work for him if we can do this soon we might just be in time to stop him attacking it with a sledge hammer. lol
pjc Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 not attacking it, my advice was it requires more ventilation, but more information on its intended use would help with advice.

Williedoo Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Yes it looks well made, and might be for a few pigeons that wont fly out.
adamant Posted April 17, 2009 Author Report Posted April 17, 2009 thanks. the guy who designed it made chicken coops for a business . i send him ideas and this is what he came up with. after its delivered i will post pictures and we can go from there. i know there has to be modifications but the bulk work is done.. i only want to keep a 1/2 doz pigeons in there.
ritchie1 Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 the very thing once you get vents in to the shed couple of vents at the bottom and a couple at the top should do it well build thou
REDROCKET Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 little landing board and bowl at right hand side would look a treat.
Guest bigda Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 looks a nice shed, for finches, budgies, Canaries
newbold Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 in my opinion not big enough for 6 pigeons maby 2 pigeons
Guest chrisss Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 looks a nice shed, for finches, budgies, Canaries i would agree with that, its far too small for pigeons,in any number
Craig05 Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Looks good. possibly a small window to allow more light in. would house 6 birds quite comfortably once avery is done.
pjc Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 very true Don and it would also make a difference if the birds will be kept captive or free flown!
terry mccarthy Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 looks like the old bus shelters down here
Leroy Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 how do we know it's too small there are no dimensions with it??? It's almost like a very posh kit box but for racers!
NW USA Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Looks as if someone gave a bunch of 6 year olds hammers. Just kidding, it looks like a nice loft.
