John k Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 Hi all could you please tell me what purpose these actually serve apart from airflow, have highlighted in red.... They actually open but no means of staying open and if was to adapt for them to stay open pigeon could fly back out lol... Was thinking of replacing the wooden dowels with bob wires if i was to get late trappers....
PATTY BHOY Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 did you add the sputniks,i think these were the bowls originally.
John k Posted June 1, 2009 Author Report Posted June 1, 2009 did you add the sputniks,i think these were the bowls originally. Nothing added by myself m8 brought the loft 2nd hand what are the bowls m8
PATTY BHOY Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 that would be the trapping system before the sputniks were added, nice loft though.
Guest Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 very nice loft. is the roof fully polycarbonate John
John k Posted June 1, 2009 Author Report Posted June 1, 2009 that would be the trapping system before the sputniks were added, nice loft though. They don't stay open m8 and if i was to adapt for them to stay open the pigeon would be able to fly back out the same way it came in lol.... Do you think i would be better off getting rid of the dowels and replacing with bob wires ...
pjc Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 that would be the trapping system before the sputniks were added, nice loft though. correct, top dowels hinge up so you can hang a set of drop holes in place to stop birds coming out

John k Posted June 1, 2009 Author Report Posted June 1, 2009 very nice loft. is the roof fully polycarbonate John Thanks for the compliments, no the roof is actually all fibre glassed i have again highlighted for you to see the joins.. Fully waterproof, actually know the guy that does the fibreglassing have spoke to him about having the floors in the loft done he said he would be able to do it for me as well and would not create a problem either when scraping out...
Roland Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 Air flow possibly, but circulation no. There is a vast difference, and an important one. But any and all air is good.... just needs to circulate.
