As we enter our lofts every morning just now, what with most birds going through the moult, we are met with loads of feathers. I have floor level nest boxes in all 3 sections, that I close off using dowel fronts, and I find that the majority of feathers tend to gather in these boxes, which makes a lot easier for me to gather and dispose of these feathers.

How do you deal with this annual situation?

i put boards up in the corners and it works on the same principal as the plant pots, catches all the body feathers, then its just a case o picking up the flights, braw.
