well av just thought ov a ventilation problem i.e extractor fans,,,,am goin 2 put a 4in hole in my roof in each section, insert a 4in soil pipe thru roof then am goin 2 fix a car radiator fan under each soil pipe and run them off me 2 caravan batteries that are wired up 2 my solar panels ,,,,,oh the joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

there you go at last we have managed to  get your head  going again thought for a while the penny would never  drop :o ;D

might try and fit a speed controler / dwell switch & a timer ,

Be good if you can get a humidity or air density room thermostat,so when air get thick and polluted or to hot the fan kick in automatic.Great plan,i am all for invention!!!!!!!

yep them fans very powerful  a extractor on to a 4" pipe the length of yer shed as on guy on here said   down to a 2" pipe with tee   junctions   on at  every 3 feet Will  pull out the bad air

my plan is bigda,, is to put 1 4in pipe in each section and a fan under each 1 m8 or dnt u think that wud b a gd idea? alll thoughts welcome  ;)

would go out the back of loft at top and not the roof then point pipe down so it is water tight

 

i think am gettin at what u mean but a pic wud b better  :-/

i know if you use the extractor with a timer plug you can control its on and of the car type are  12 volts  so you need battery or transformer  if i where you i would use three extractors with  4" pipe in each sections simpest way  but its your  call ;D

well mate i hav solar panels 2 supply electricity 2 all my lofts as i am on allotments throwin out 1000 watts,,so i think that will run 3 radiator fans 1 in each section  ;)

sure bilco wrote how he had used car radiators to ventelate his loft on 1 of the other forums

the fans on a car are like any other fan the blades are designed to suck in and push out if you turn a car rad fan round it wont cool the car i believe one way it will extract and the other it will do the opposite but i might be wrong

 

ok m8 al check that out b4 i put them in but am sure they draw air in agaisnt the radiator 2 cool it down and so b the case it will draw bad air up and out soil pipe above it ,,but thx 4 the idea al bear that in mind b4 i fit them
