Hi David it's a guessing game with the correct amount to put in the water.It is very strong and what I do if not wanting to use anti B's is give it to the birds either when you feed them after a race,giving electolytes on arrival or Sundays at a rate of two drops max to a litre.

Some fanciers might not agree with that dose too little too much?

It is very strong and used as an anti bacterial/anti microbial
