they'll work there way back mate mine did lost 10 off first training toss worked back over next few days and lost 1 today some big teams out over last few days trained 33 today and came out of a team of what looked like hundreds had some that kept flying then worked back home so hope you get them back.

Is there a best time to send birds out for training?

 

if they are pretty well educated you can take them anytime,i think it's once you get over those first few hurdles then they are ok.jmo B)

well i think best late at night a lot easier getting them in when they a young birds

Are you saying that after a few throws of the birds they will naturally get home quicker and better? How many times and from what initial distance do u suggest the first young bird throws should be?
