Help Needed, Wickham, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

Is there anyone near Wickham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I have a pigeon reported there by a non-fancier, it also has an injured wing. If anyone near there could pick the bird up and hold onto it for me it would be greatly appreciated.
