Youngboy has asked me to put a picture of my youngbird pen for you to maybe take some ideas from for your own pen design

 

 

 

If you could make something similar to this it may be safer and healthier for your birds you could keep 3 or 4 pairs in this if they were flying out as well

me too only got a small 20 sq ft garden managed to fit a L shaped shed 12ft by 11ft by 5ft wide could do with a bit bigger but will have to make do for now. :'( :'(

Remember a school boy winning a National flying to a rabbit hutch... 4 on top of each other.

Another school boy started up, and under Titmus guidance was doing nicely. Two years later, having never raced or traind his birds decided to pack up. Sent the last one to a National, more to get shot of fairly ... first toss, first race it won the national.

 

Great flyer in Derby had nest boxes on poles in a circle in his garden. Was unbeatable.

So if I was a competitor I'd be incline to build him a big spacious loft lol   ;D ;D
