open front lofts

what are the advances of having a open front loft?

wont the rain get in?

half of the front of my loft is open... two foot over hang at the front on the roof... not a drop of rain gets in..

i have wire doors behind main loft door which i open  for much of the day .

my lofts are open fronts,and never ever had any problems with them....good for the birds in my opinion ;)

my loft i put up in december is open front and the birds have never looked better

mine is open with overhang stays dry better for the birds in my view . if you do have open front with dowels put some small wire over them keeps stoats weasels and rats out .
