Fly_caster Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 Only 4 weeks since I transplanted this from Denton in Manchester to Donegal in NW Ireland.......getting there though............ My link It is 20' x 8'.containing a 30" corridor just inside the 3 sliding front doors. There are three compartments inside the corridor, kitted out as follows - 2 x 6' x 6' YB's and one breeding section ready for next spring. Corridor is also kitted with dividers so each section can be partitioned completely from other sections. I added a 2m x 2m x 1m aviary to the section beside the breeding pen, which should work well when I have prisoner stock birds or for orientation of YB's. Thanks for looking, Steve
neneland Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 Here is my Chicken Shed... consists of two 8' x 6' sheds making 1 section(racers) of 8'x6' & 2 sections(hens & YB) of 4'x6' I have done some more work on it recently so will update photo when I have some batteries for the camera

Cogburn Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 I'm not looking foward to building it lol I would rather buy a bigger pre owed one but having trouble getting one Is there not any decent shed builders round your bit that could do you a decent deal on a 10x6? If you could get the shell at a decent price you could add the finishings yourself

Then you'll be guaranteed of something thats the right size and you can work on it to get it the way you want. You might be lucky enough though to get a used loft thats exactly what your after though. its just your donald duck

lenton1163 Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 i was going to buy a shed and change it myself but it was only an extra £190 for a loft exactly how i wanted it so i had the loft it most likely worked out cheaper as im not very good at wood work and would have made a mess of it but what ever suits you best mate.
