WELL DONE LADIES, A GREAT EFFORT FOR A GREAT CAUSE

On reading the story by Doreen (Clockmans) good lady the thread attachments by George on her father Matt Ferguson being diagnosed with frontal lobe dementia at the young age of 68 years.They are trying to raise money to support Alzheirmers Scotland to enable other famillies the support they need.

On behalf of Eadie&Kelly i would like to offer for Auction 1 Grizzle youngster from our Deans/Cullen distance family and it will be a direct youngster from (George Kellys Boy 4th Reg E 4th West 27th Open Reims Gold Cup SNFC 2010).Auction will run until Monday 5th July and the youngster will be ready in 10 days time.

Thanks for taking the time to read the thread and as Doreen quotes Every Little helps.

AUCTION RULES

 

All charity sales will be run by Pigeon Basics.

You must apply to Admin to have a sale which will be administered by Ian McKay.

All monies paid will be put in the New Pigeon Basics Charity Account.

Security

This account will be at R B S Westhill Branch Aberdeen and administered by Ian McKay.

(No private accounts)

This account will be available to all Mod’s and Admin on the private moderators board.

Two members will have to sign for all cheques.

Cheques to be signed by both:

Duncan Reid

DOVEscot on the forum

All cheques to be made payable to Pigeon Basics Charity Account.

All winning bids by PM must be put on Mod’s board for inspection. (After the end of sale)

Conditions

There will be a 10% retention kept to protect winning bidders that do not receive there bird / s, after all birds have been confirmed as delivered this will pass to the charity without delay.

Payment

To be made as soon as possible after the sale, contact organiser if there is to be a delay.

Charity cheques

Cheques to the charity will be paid out as soon as possible after the sale

Publicity

Where possible we will try and get a photograph of the cheque being presented.

Carriage

All winning bidders will be responsible for carriage.

First lets apologies to this auction and to the young football team,for the delay, and this is due to problems opening a Bank account, which will deal with charity auctions, I have been kept up to date regarding this by Ian, to start off with to open this account involved 3 banks, 2 were for sapper and Dovescote getting their signatures witnessed at their local branch,these then have to be sent to the Aberdeen branch where the account is to be opened,first problem came when one of the signatures didnt arrive,so another had to be done, this all gets sent to headquarters from Aberdeen, then headquarters\ came up with wanting another signature, this has been done yesterday at the Aberdeen branch, so now hopefully the headquarters will get the account opened, we never thought for one minute that it would take so long to open an account,once this is opened there will be no problems in the future, and its the best way to deal with charity auctions, we thank you for your understanding and hope this account is opened very soon, any further questions dont hesitate to pm me, as I am kept up to date by Ian,

We would like to thank everyone who donated money and bought the pigeons in the auction. We are most grateful and you have all helped a great cause and a charity which does not get much recognition. Alzheimers Scotland will benefit greatly. In total with all mine and Lisas sponsors we raised over £500. Once the cheque is cleared I will put the money on the Just Giving web page split between mine and Lisas pages and you can all see it there. Thank you also to Pigeon Basics for allowing the auction to take place.
