billt Posted June 27, 2010 Report Posted June 27, 2010 Hi all, just noticed there are posts on here from non-fanciers re.lost birds, I think it's vital to the sport that we reply to these people that are trying to be helpfull or we might not be helped again
kev01293 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 i couldnt agree more billt i drove down to southampton to collect one of my yb,s from a non fancier who was told by her neighbour that she was wasting her time reporting it as we wouldnt want it back if non fanciers go to the trouble of reporting our birds then the least we can do is collect them and remember to thank them for doing it kev
OLDYELLOW Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Its essential that our interaction with the general public is a pleasant one , please and thank you cost nothing and these people have actualy took it upon themselves to try to help someones bird , all my neighbours take intrest in my birds and are quite amazed how they come back from many miles to home , and watch how quick they come in its great to keep the neighbours happy and also shows a better side to the sport if only to a few
