Jeremy Clarkson On Sparrowhawks

did anyone read jeremy clarksons column in the sun newspaper dated sat june 5th 2010 apparently a weirdbeard (his words,not mine) tried to argue that the sparrow was in decline because of cars he (clarkson)then sarcastically states that it has nothing to do with the remarkable comeback of the sparrowhawk in britain which has that name because it eats sparrows ok its only a small article in the sun but the s/hawk problem now seems to be getting some coverage in our newspapers which can only be a good thing for us fanciers and our pigeons and wild birds sooner or later the the general public will be aware of the carnage that takes place daily by s/hawks and hopefully the rspb will eventually run out of excuses and admit there is a problem but i wont hold my breath kev

Had a falconer here at the weekend, he gives lectures on it and he was saying there is always someone in the audience that mentions the hawks are taking the song-birds, so it looks like the public have got the message
