I'M 76 and find it a lot better than the old layout once you get used to it, its simple,

there are plenty decent members on young and old who will help anybody out if they are having problems

AM 51 N NOT OLD AT ALL I AM QUITE I.T. LITERATE LIKE A LOT OF OLDER MEMBERS WHO USE TO USE THE SITE I STILL USE THE SITE BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I DO NOT LIKE THE FORMAT IT IS TOO MUCH LIKE CHAT AND PREFER THE BANTER FORMAT AS IT IS MORE USER FRIENDLY JMO

Quite easy when you get used to it, it all takes time but stick with it

87 currently online just now Tommy m8, keep the faith, the site will grow, some don,t like change, others just look for excuses to knock it, however the people who stick with it will be glad they did, to be part of one of the few UPTO DATE AND MODERN sites.

quite right sapper with problems with both the server and the forum itself it had to happen anyway i think this forum software is class and with another few things in the pipeline to come watch out lol

I can only speak for myself. I personally don,t find it hard to work, however some might, I go on other sites and I find them hard to follow or boring, so at the end of the day, we are all individuals, and are fortunate there are a variety of pigeon sites to choose from, and no doubt, people get different enjoyment from different sites. Life would be boring if we were all the same:rolleyes:

Certain new things are never user friendly when you first try, but keep at it and you'll be a professional

basics is its own site with it own ideas we dont try to copy anyone else the change did cause some confusion as the format is slighty differnt the messenger system is class i think also with the problems on previous forum it made the choice for basics and im happy it did as the forum now is not having any problems

 

 

also remember with the backroom team that here there will be some exciting changes on the way

As said many times before, stick to PORTAL and you get at least 3 pages of recent posts

 

would like to see the members name alongside portal though

 

other than that, I find it very easy to navigate around the site, and as said before, it is more modern and moving with the times
