I would like to thank Mick for his generous donation I received this morning towards my funds for Breast Cancer.

Thanks must be given to all those that participated in what ever way they did to the Colin Bowler Memorial fund.

 

I must admit it is now nice to be sending out these donations to those that need it and whose organisers do a hell of a lot more work than me, well done to you all!

 

I will update members in a couple of weeks to where all the donations are going/gone.

He sent a nice cheque (which arrived this morning) to my wife Marlene for Friends of Clan which is a cancer unit in Aberdeen catering for the North of Scotland and the islands round about

As promised Mick, I attach the photo of your generous cheque being presented to "Friends of CLAN" I kept it as a surprise at our May Fayre yesterday (Saturday) so what you see is just how they got the news. We are all so delighted that you included "Friends of CLAN" in your donations. Our thanks go also to the participants who so kindly raised the funds. I am amazed at the kindness of people on here as Ian and I have found have found also in our venture. CLAN is our local cancer group and we are fundraisers.

 

The photo is not the best quality as it was not my usual camera and I got someone else to take it.
