There were some difficult races yesterday with low velo's and some very late and tired birds. How do most of you treat them for a speedy recovery? ie. cabin up for a couple of days, light feeds etc.

Personally i like to give mine plenty of protein, when they've had it tough, so kibbled peanuts red band and sunflower hearts mixed equally, as well as the normal feeding they are on. After 24 hours mine never appear any worse for wear so i'll stick to it. :)

All race birds had a warm bath this morning, and will rest up for the remainder of the day, then the preparation starts again tomorrowhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif
