was at the SNRPC sale at newbridge,again alot of very good birds on offer donated from alot of top fanciers.the sale went well enough,and their was some real bargains to be picked up at reasonable prices rangeing from £30 to the top price of £100.I again purchased a very nice red youngster bred by WILSON/JACK of LANARK.sale total for the birds plus the rafflewas very close on £2,450 :) cheers wee BILLY K.

That was a wee cracker billy that wee red the best i handled did not know i was bidding against you but i really wanted that one:(

but got another wee topper direct of 1st region e youngbird national 2009

and i won the raffle pete patrick of thornton nice wee red so made up the disappointment of being outbid :D

got to add thats both snfc and the snrpc both had sales that really top doo's are going very cheap

i had a look at the snrpc website a sale last year the top price paid was over 300 pounds and not many under £50 oh how things have changed

some birds struggled to make £30-£40

i think £30 -£40 at this time of year is more than fair as we should be racing all youngsters bought at sales imo,dont think the money of previous years is there frank. :) :) :) :)
