showman Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 Agree with Phil.Get your loft etc. sorted out, and suss whichever Society will suit you.Better to leave it until late summer / autumn before looking for stock.Like to see pics of loft when you have it finished.
showman Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 You finished your loft yet Paul?Haven't started it yet mate !!To be honest, I couldn't get a plan right in my mind, and it was only last week that I think I got it sorted. With only 24' x 8' room to play with, and wanting aviary access for all sections, it was doing my head in coming up with a design. Fortunately Chris Knowles threw in his say, and from there I got it sorted. I now just have to imagine the loft built, and convince myself it will work. Thanks for asking mate

Well, that's a fair plan. Don't rush into it, and don't worry where your birds will come from.....should be a few about at that time of the year. A couple of pairs will be plenty for your proposed loft size.
