sean75 Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 does any body know the rules 4 training with a friend in a car as heard today that it is not aloud
perk Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 only thing i think you have to have is vac,s form in the car and or ownership papers. old rule ?
Diamond dave Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Sean You might have heard about the crazy event in Peter Bryants "view from the Reddings" There is nothing as yet to stop you training - just be careful where you liberate.
T_T Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 I've heard that club secretaries have been issued with a booklet from the RPRA. As I understand it, training as normal. No paperwork reqd. Check with your club sec.
Guest cloudview Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 from what iv,e read if you taking more birds training than your own you have to appley for a lience legally speak ing
perk Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 that,s true cloudview, think i,ve seen that in peter bryants articles, birds from more than one loft training or racing need defra licence
peterpau Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 We were told Sunday if you liberate birds from more than one loft together then you need a licence as it's classed as a training-race. Quoted from said book. Nice new rule.
NANCYVIEWLOFTS Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 hi cloudview what are appleysand lience s
paul k Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 I've had to apply for a license today as trainign more than 1 lofts birds togeather, they need to know....wait for it 1) whereabouts they will be trained from (exact location) 2) what time they will be let go 3) which date excatly will you be training ( i told them possibly everyday for the next 6 months, but they need it more excat than that ???) 4) where they are going back to (loft locations) if you tell them you are training from point A on monday, you cannot train from anywhere else.....how stupid.
perk Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 if six cars go to a training point and let there birds up together there,s no problem, these birds going to the same area all ok no licence required but one van doing the same needs a licence. huh :-/
vader lofts Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 I AM THE THE SECRATARY OF MY LOCAL PIGEON CLUB AND HAVE RECIEVED THE NEW AVION INFLUENZA RULE BOOK.IT SAYES NOTHING ABOUT "TRAINING" PIGEONS ONLY RACING EVENTS.THERE IS A LETTER THAT COMES WITH THE RULE BOOK THAT SAYS ONE IMPORTANT LICENCE CONDITION IS THAT ANIMAL HEALTH OFFICERS MUST BE GIVEN AT LEAST 14 DAYS NOTICE OF EVERY LIBERATION, INCLUDING TRANING RACES. MAKE OF THAT WHAT YOU CAN.
