jimmy white Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 your a true pigeon lover, fifer, for all what you have done for the fancy, you need a pat on the back, not aggro.i wish you the best in the comming season[ actions are louder than words]
fifestay Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Its not about telling the Teacher its about breaking the law ..... if it is true and for once i believe Fife King (amazing as it may sound) these twits are putting all our racing at risk after the fancy in Fife are being trusted to act "sensibly"(whether RPRA or SHU) to let their Birds out for a short while prior to feeding. These Folk are training and to be honest it has sickened me, their attitude when challenged " will if I want" ... None of us in Fife are happy with restrictions but most of us are abiding by the rules and are trying to make the best of a bad situation.
Westwater Assassin Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 I have been using this Website as a way of gaining infromation about the recent BIRD FLU incident in FIFE. Up till now it has been a great help to myself and quite a few other Fanciers in my area, BUT it seems that there is still a wee bit of bad feeling between some of the members on this site regarding issues which should have been settled long time ago !!!! Should OUR , when i say OUR i mean ALL FIFE FED & KINGDOM ASSOCIATION members main aim this year is to have a RACING SEASON ???? We are not asking for the world all we want is a chance to race our birds, and on the other side of the coin the (SHU/RPRA/DEFRA) are not asking for the world by restricting us to a few hours each day to exercise our birds (BUT NO TRAINING). So why is it that there are certain members who think they are exception to the rule ???? You ASS HOLES (excuse the language any Ladies) could jepordise any chance of racing in Fife this year and for what ???? a few more training tosses than everyone else ?? Could we not stick together on this one ?? (at least until the first Race) haha
Pompey Mick Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 If you have responsible secretaries in your area then report any transgressors to them and they should act. I am a Club secretary and if we were in a restricted zone and I was notified that any of my members were acting in this irresponsible manner then action would be taken. However saying that, knowing what wind-up merchants we have in this sport I would probably think of an old saying of my late Father. 'Only half believe what you see and don't believe a thing you hear' Very good advice when dealing with pigeon fanciers. I have seen widowhood cocks come back from exercise looking for all the world that they have been on a training toss and Naturals also if they have gone on the mud or fielding.
