Hi Louella has indeed paid the highest public recorded price. Seem to remember that a Kuypers Bros hen called Beatrix was sold privately for over £100,000. More recently a pigeon called Super Ben was sold for an undisclosed amount way in excess of £100,000 to a Taiwen business man.

 

Wim Van De Velden of Boskoops turned down £110,000 last year for his Barcelona winner and let her stay in the loft!!!! A brave man.
