ALF Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 I have a yearling cock who so far has had every fed race drom 63 to 362mls where he made the open result from Maidstone and i think he is better now and am thinking of sending him to Falaise but am not sure : ::)He will be sitting 14 days at basketting so is perfect but what do youz all think i should do with him send him or keep him for next year??? PS he is away to Otterburn this week aswell ;)Wel i need a timer ;D ;D ;D
Guest Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 We've had some of our best results in the longer races with yearlings. Our first bird home from the tough 500 last week was a yearling hen, I say go for it
ALF Posted July 1, 2006 Author Report Posted July 1, 2006 just cant make my mind up with this bird Hyacinth dont wont tyo ruin a potetially good pigeon but on the other hand he looks and handles superb : : :-/ :-/
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 IF YOU KEEP GOING TO THE WELL IT WILL EVENTUALLY RUN DRY.
peterpau Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 I'd agree with Tammy. Unless of course you have his parents and more like him.
jimmy white Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 could you let us know your decision , and if you send , how it gets on, my own advice would be keep it for next year , as its had too many races this year [it must have had about 11 if its went every race,] it goes back to fuel in the tank.for distances of over 500 miles, best of luck anyway ,whichever way you decide
ALF Posted July 5, 2006 Author Report Posted July 5, 2006 Well Jimmy i have sent the cock along with 3 2 year olds.He is sitting about 16 days so here.s hoping he can give me a wee thrill on friday night bud
