perk Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 BEST OF LUCK KEN, YOUR YOUNG BIRDS ARE COMING ON BRILLIANT
mealybar Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Good Luck everyone who sent to Bourges. Looking at the weather tonight; there is a band of rain going to be present diagonally across the middle of the country on Friday; however this could just be showers (heavy). That band moves south for Saturday and settles over northern France (more persistent rain). Wind looks like west/south west across the UK Fri/Sat, not alot of wind in France either day. To me it looks better for a liberation at Bourges on Friday, but depends what that rain is like across the midlands.

jimmy white Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 yes well done,, and well done to all that entered
stevebelbin Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 I sent two to bourges, and got one at 9:15 am the next morning and the next one sunday at 7am. The sunday bird came back with half his crop missing and is very weak, but seems to be eating and drinking, for now. So chuffed and gutted in one weekend.
mealybar Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Good going to get 100% Steve. Hope the second pulls round, he'll be on the day next year Loft I was at; we clocked at 8:12am next day, and another 6pm; the only 2 I know of in my club.
stevebelbin Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Good flying mate, well done. We had a the sheet filled at thornaby, I think there is 12 birds confirmed in race time. I hope he does pull through, its heartbreaking seeing him so down, when he was such strapping pigeon, I honestly dont know how he got home
stevebelbin Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 It certainly does, the blood was dry on his cut, so he must have done it early on in the race, just shows how rock hard some pigeons are.
sean75 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 sent 4 got 1 751am sun and 1 829am still waitin 4 2 birds
