Guest Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 What's the point of setting clocks, for a trainer.

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 >:(hello from Larkhall Just in case anybody want's to know the Ripon race will have the same pools and prizemoney as Wakefield and all money will be paid out after expenses. The pools are 25p, 50p, 1.00, 2.00, 3.00 paid out at 20-1 and also £1 nom winner takes all. [it's a bad day when i have got to send my pigeons to another federation to get a 150 - 175 mile race] UNBELIEVEABLE
sj irving jnr Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 gareth welcome to basics,we have had 4 races and we aint been over 60 miles its just crazy!!! i hear that this week is south lanarkshires last race dont know if this is true surely not??
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 hi Scott Not so sure about South Lanarkshire but this week Lanarkshire are at Otterburn and that will be the end of the season for it's members with the furthest racepoint we have flown being scotch corner at 120 miles to 130 miles. As you will know the young bird national is not until 3 weeks later, so if it wasn't for Uddingston getting a race along with the North West fed from Ripon and Wakefield the pigeon men in Lanarkshire would have had no preparation going to the young bird national.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 scott what is the rest of your race program leading upto the young bird national.
sj irving jnr Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 leyland this week then appelton 117m then stafford 152 miles, but we will see how we get on after leyland we will be over the hills and thats when we get the losses.
