Bobby and his son Martin were some of the best distance flyers this country has ever seen and the quality of there birds were imense. Bobby was kind enough to gift me 3 or 4 birds when i was a small boy and they set me on the road to success esp the old red cock which was from his Combine winning red hen. Also a dark w/f cock which bred Champion 212.

Martin told me he still has his fathers old family but the hawks have made it almost impossible to even let the birds exercise around the loft. I owe a great deal of gratitude to the Adair family and i only hope Martin gets a chance to follow the steps of his father as im sure the old family he houses in one of the finest Cumbria has ever seen for the long end.
