allotments

anyone here fly to allotments. i'm hoping to get one for next season as i only have room for a 6x4 shed at home which i am currently flying to

BEEN ON AN ALLOTMENT FOR THE PAST 4 YRS AND I WOULD'NT HAVE MY BIRDS OUT MY BACK DOOR AGAIN UNLESS I WAS A MILLIONAIRE AND COULD PICK WHERE I HAD MY LOFT ;) ;)BUT THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS YOU ARE NOT THERE TO PROTECT YOUR PIGEONS ALL THE TIME(MY LOFT WAS BROKEN INTO EARLIER THIS YEAR)AND IF I FIND OUT WHO ACTUALLY DID IT HE WILL NEVER WALK PROPERLY AGAIN BUT WE'LL CROSS THAT BRIDGE WHEN WE COME TO IT ;) ;)NOT THAT I'M A BAD PERSON BUT I LOVE MY PIGEONS ;)

 

ps NO BIRDS WERE TAKEN ONLY THE LOFT DOOR WAS BUSTED :P

Security:- I've had no problems with the pigeons yet

Property Developers:- Been kicked off the site my dad raced on and has had an allotment on in the famially for 50 years

Interference with other pigeon men, spying, handing out advice when its not wanted etc

I fly on allotments its murder when your waiting for one to drop and someone near you lets out 50 or 60...great at channel racing though its good banter...would love to own a house with a big garden and put up a nice loft......neighbours though sometimes can be funny so there is a side to both..
