at £99 pounds for 6 ybs ,,it would allmost cost you that to rear ,ie feed parents as well, grit minerals pickstones ,,the work , the mess , i say it is a bargain , i have did this in the past and topped the fed with one , i in fact have one in the loft now that has flown well over 500 miles, so i think its a reasonable buy for a newstarter to get the hang of things and who knows just might ,,,finnish up with a decent bird my motto is allways blame yourself instead of the pigeon , ive seen people get pigeons from me[ free] 6 birds will go to one guy the 6 nestmates to another, one would say they were rubbish while the other has won yb league and through the season won a fair bit of cash[ quite a lot actually], so management goes for a lot.

I bought 6 British faroes and had very good results with 2 of them over the water and one has gone on to breed winners with different hens

i bought the £150 for 10 kit in july and i am using these as my flying out stock, to breed off for next year, all came at between 24-30 days old and look fine birds had them out on the trap since 2 days after getting them and so far have still got 10 and they are flying well, they have started to moult now and are turning out to look and handle great and it looks like ive landed lucky with 5 hens and 5 cocks but will find out for sure next year but so far i am hope full but only the basket will tell

asw for the price £150 for 10 is nowt really and next year when they breed hopefully they will turn out 20 yb's to try, so 20 yb's and the 10 ive already got works out at £5 each, not a bad price for a pigeon with certificate of stain

by the way they are the performance busschaerts which i am lead to believe are crosses of all their busschaert strains

Many find, as I also believe, Mac1 that youngsters brought in don't really give 100% to they have settled, or mated, raised a round like. So I wouldn't put much store in not winning ... they may wel do next season, or breed some winners as you will have the blood as one says like. JMO

come on aarden there a bargain as it is, and im confident that in the right hands they will top the fed them selves, because of there breeding. put it this way all my cocks r out of my stock loft were most of my birds r direct of champions if there not they r closley related. iv spent a fortune on stock so £100 4 6 is a bargain.

im thinking of selling my round off my widow cocks for £100 4 six, just enough to pay for corn and stuff. most of the pigeons parents have got good fed results.

Good price, mate.. I'll get in touch with you about YBs soon...  :)
