Guest Paulo Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Just like to say thank you to Stevebelbin who paid a loft visit at the weekend and gave me 3 cracking pairs of pigeons to breed off next year. He also give me some health advice on problems I have been having with some birds I have brought at a sale and I have know taken steps to sort these out. Hope your trainers didn't get too dirty mate these allotments have none of the home comforts lol. Thanks Paul
Guest CS Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Well done Steve Belbin, Do you have a photo of 3 cracking pairs, are they busschaerts?
Guest Paulo Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Yep three pairs of busschaerts I'll see what I can do for photos at the weekend bit dark on the morning and night at the minute!!!! Hate winter.

Guest Paulo Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I'll see if I can do some damage with them next year mate. With a big lot of luck and work I might even be able to win a few races.
Guest Paulo Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Well done Steve Belbin, Do you have a photo of 3 cracking pairs, are they busschaerts? Heres a few pictures first ones are of Vandebeele cockand hen these have yellow rings on. Lovely birds I bought these ones. Next pictures are of some of the birds I got for three mixed in with my own birds but the vast majority of my loft are steves birds now lol
Guest Paulo Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Thanks Alf over the moon with them had my dad down the loft last weekend and he had a neb in and started handling them loved the vandebeele cock didn't have the heart to tell him it wasn't a busschaert lol Had a few health problems lately because of some birds I got at an auction just glad all the other birds seem ok now and are healthy. Only got one bird left out of the four I bought at the auction heres a picture of him and the new tumbler I have got as a shaker. His first time back in the hen end since isolation. Don't want to put him in with the cocks as they are on fire at the minute and will give him a good hiding with being a latebred.
Guest Paulo Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I'm over the moon with that vandebeele cock he's a cracking looking pigeon can't wait to see what young uns he knocks out. The pair of dark busschaerts are nice as well. The pictures don't do the birds justice. They look a bit peed off cause of the cold.
