Guest TAMMY_1 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Not even paired up yet! WELL YOU ARE AS SLOW AS YOUR DOOS
DECKY Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 I HAVE NOT PAIRED UP YET BUT I AM IMPRESSED WITH YOU STEVIE IN GETTING ALL YOUR BIRDS LAYING AT SAME TIME. DID YOU TAKE THEIR FIRST EGGS AWAY FROM THEM, SO THEY WOULD GO DOWN ON 2ND ROUND TOGETHER?
ransom50 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 we have about 40 yb all abt 3 to 5 days old ;D ;D
pigeonscout Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Lock your hens in one half of the box for 3 days then let the cocks in. They should all go down around the same time. This also helps stop the cocks chasing hens into and out of other boxes because the hens don't know what box they belong to.
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 21 yb tammy ;D going great GLAD YOU GOT IT FIXED ALL RIGHT MATE

Keepsmilingqueen Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 I got nothing yet i put nest bowls + materials in on the 16th of dec for the stock birds and they dont seem interested (i split the sexes but only for 3 days until the cocks chose a box then i re installed the hens as i wanted to keep the same pairings as last year. i dont have heat or lights in the loft so i can only presume they just dont feel like its spring yet, im not in a rush but i cant help but feel a little dissapointed sharron
