Guest Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 ;D 15 ybs in 05 to second yb race . andy
swilcox Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 78 young birds in 1998, only because i had just started and didnt have a old birds so i breed a few extra, ended the season with 58. Stuart
stevebelbin Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 27 YBs and no more than 16 OBs, wouldnt have the time If I had to basket any more than that up LOL
tubbles Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 The most i sent was 15 old birds ( thats all the boxes i have ) 20 yb in a club race cos we race in a 20 bird limit club. We have a number of no limit clubs around here but they seem to be dominated now by just the one flyer each time, members sending is at an all time low, not saying it is because of the 'Mobflyers' but our 20 bird limit has only seen a drop in numbers because of people dying or just leaving the sport for other reasons. One of the clubs with no limit was one of the biggest around here with 40-odd members is now down to just ten-fifteen with the members leaving and joining other clubs that race to a limit. Draw your own conclusions.
Guest Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 ive sent 60 y/bs at the start of the season and around 45 in o/b,s season. i fly natural...paul
pj1001 Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 28-30 young birds for the first few races then around 12-14 a week afterwards old birds normally 30-36 for last 3-4 old bird races before birds go on channel when we start are channel team as well as racing the inland team. Normally though we would send between 12-20 a week. PJ
