Guest TAMMY_1 Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Well worth money, is it good or bad ? it is excellent, tub lasts for ages , does no harm at all and keeps them lice free
mark Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 , £1.10p out the chemists here, you are being robbed are you scottish tammy you little penny pincher lol.
pigeonscout Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I do not see why you are using Potassium permanganate to keep lice of the birds lets hope the do not come into contact with sugar or you will have fire balls all over the sky.
Roland Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Well will use pour on. In the men time I believe 'Chinese chalk' is great. Drew a line around the nest bowls to - day.... I have to mate up as the Ferals cock birds are bombarding my lofts when the hens are out, and the cock birds nip over to their lofts when out ... Never seen anything as effective. But must keep well away from the kids etc. of course.

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 WERE YOU GET THE CHINESE CHALK FROM ROLAND CHINA
sapper756 Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Better using moxidectine kill two birds with one stone great stuff NEVER USE ANYTHING THAT KILLS BIRDS FRANK ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Guest Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 much better than condies crystals though tammy
pigeonscout Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 because i know fanciers who have used it for over 40 years and it worked for them and it works for me , thats why i use it, is there a cafe in the sky where they can access sugar ? It will only keep the numbers of lice down and not kill them all and if you make it up to strong you will burn the birds. Why not use one of the many products that are safe to use and one that will kill all lice? I do not see the point in just killing some as the others will just breed. Your right they used it 40 years ago but things have moved on. No cafe in sky well not round these parts
Guest Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 what damage does it do to the birds internasl organs when they drink it as they must do when in the bath
