madmaxlofts Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 my hens have been split for about 5 weeks now im going to reintroduse them for three tosses next week to learn my yearling cocks to race to them then they will not see them until 14 april first race dont know if im doing the right thing but time will tell
Roland Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 mytton6 keep them seperate and a quick mingle basket night! Then start repairing from 2 nd week in June Looking at the date of the circle for when you wqnt cocks driving Big Swab, hens sitting tight etc. if you are interested in distance or hard races. Yes I know many Naturals are wiping the oards at prsent, but they are seasoed pro's like. If they are doing well when seperated then think twice as to when and whyyou'd want to repair them. Eggs or young in may will fly all the way! But time to decide and keep one eye awak. But don't swap, stat and keep changing because for every result you do get will mean dozens you won't, and you will also want to know how and why!
