Guest CS Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 RPRA Transfers 17 March 2007 Please note that rule 102 was changed at the recent AGM. With effect from 5 March 2007 the cost of transfers will rise to £1.50 per transfer form (up to 18 rings on one form).
Beanz Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Thats all that ever happens with RPRA things go up, the rings go up and they are made at the same place as NWHU are but yet they are only 15p to members, also the RPRA will not allow the BHW to take adverts off NWHU because they sell things cheaper than them, all they want is your money. Paul
gangster Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 IF YOU HAVE ANY FOREIGN RUNG BIRDS THEY NOW WANT 75P PER RING CARD TO REDGISTER THEM BUT EVEN IF REPORTED TO THEM THEY WONT INFORM THE OWNER THEY PUT YOU ON 2 THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN....BIT CHEEKY I THINK.............
Guest Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 the thing wi th the £1.50 is you dont have to put in 2 SAE ? am i correct in saying this? so it hasnt gone up that much from £1

Wondered if RPRA has introduced envelopes with address windows which show addressee on its new form? Or is the addressee a pre-printed label?

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 a good job I have plenty stamps belonging to the club then at that price ;D
Roland Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Didn't know there was First class stamps lo ... Mind a 2nd class last post here still arrives first thing in the morning wherever it goes so...
me Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 This is a smart move by the RPRA we have all done it sent the form away and forgot the stamps so they have to contact you or wait tillthey contact you more cost more work. This way no stamps and its even cheaper in real terms. Sensible adminstration for a change well done RPRA.
blackjack Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Beanz makes a very good and valid point i am an rpra but also NWHU member living in gloucestershire the rpra is a rip off with regional councillors more interested in power and points scoring than people and pigeons . Its time we tried and took the rpra back.

Pompey Mick Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 For £4.50 a YEAR I think the RPRA serves us proud. The Ring registration is first class and applying for distances is a doddle.
me Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 get a grip its 2007, whats £1.50 come out of the stone age the point is in reality its not gone up, could be argued its even less £1.50 no stamps equals no change, don't know what you guys are moaning about up here its £1.50 plus stamps you don't know when you well off!
me Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 For £4.50 a YEAR I think the RPRA serves us proud. The Ring registration is first class and applying for distances is a doddle. and the yearly sub is a lot more than £4.50 a lot more!
