Here are some photos from the show at Egermont today, these are not the winners but just some photo's taken of the birds that were entered.

 

Some results.

Horseman had 4 NPA certs

Winners were, Chequers (all colours) Scott Morrison with a Blue cheq ck

Barred (all colours) Ricky Dunning with a Cream Cheq Hen

Grizzles Scott Morrison with a blue cheq ck

Any colour self and AOC, Scott Morrison with sefl brown hen.

I got best horseman with blue cheq ck and best oposite sex with self brown hen.

 

 

Hiya Franny, Sorry but I am not wrong again. For someone who does not exhibit you seem think you know it all. Firstly, the above message is from Scott to me. And if you care to read correctly you will see that he did win best opposite sex. My first post stated that you do not win NPA certs for best opposite sex, only for a colour or marking  ;D

Doade is correct and Daisymay and franny41 are both wrong.

 

NPA certs are awarded to the best in each colour group or the best of breed if entries do not warrent seperate colour groups.

 

Scott's brown hen won the Any colour self/AOC group cert which then went on to be best opposite sex to the BOB.

 

franny41,if you are going to post just to get at someone make sure you get your facts right or you end up looking the stupid one ;D ;D

Ally Mac, As you know i am just starting up into the racers and only have 7 at the moment which were gifted to me by a friend, I hope you may be correct in saying i mite get similar results when i start racing next year but some how i think this could be a very hard task

Hi Guys

In the defence of Daisymay's post, I phoned him on my mobile and had said to him that i had won 3 NPA certs and my blue cheq ck got best horseman and the self brown hen got Best opp sex, however as the signal was not the greatest and it was breaking up it may not have came across as it was said and wires may have got slightly crossed, these two did get certs along with my blue grizzle.

I hope this clarifies things, after all it is only a bunch of feathers and we should be enjoying our hobby.

I you say from behind your key board old man ;D  all kidding aside he's of to Lille in france in december invitation only tournament but before that in a couple of weeks time he's got the scottish championships he won it in 2007 silver last year so we shall see........ hows things your end any good results this season.
