Guest Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 sammy you said he shouldnt be going to, it he was 12th not bad out of 277 birds if its bred for the distance then what you trying to win a tuppeny race way a good distance bird for should be kept to do what it was bred for flying long races ;D ;D ;D
barlbylofts Posted April 11, 2007 Author Report Posted April 11, 2007 its never been raced before its got to start some where you cant not race a bird then send it 500 miles thats bad
jimmy white Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 most of these pigeons oiginated from the late johny kirkpatrick, a lot of these pigeons were grizzles , they were famed for the distance allthough have won shorter races too, if im not mistaken the near white pigeon ,,,,",virgo" a young bird national winner was of these lines [ raced by the fountainhead stud]
