Guest Vic Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Could one of you canny Scotsmen, please enlighteman an old and decrepit Sassenenach on the issue of these ETC Rings? How much per ring? Can they be transferred immediately, without any bother? How many rings will we have to buy on an average season, compared with the normal metal rings? Do they last forever? Surely! one or two of you, will clarify the issue, Vic.
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 £ 1.10, easily transferred, depends on how many you want to use, and last as long as you dont lose the doo they are on, and aye you are old and decrepit

Surely! one or two of you, will clarify the issue, Vic. rings are bought and then must be assigned to the fancier by his club, u take ur rings and get them assigned to u and ur bird, rings can be changed from one bird to another in ur loft but not from one fancier to another, after the old bird racing u can take the rings off them and put them on ur youngsters, this is done by the club. but once the rings are assigned to a fancier they cannot be assigned to another,

But Can a club work without a 100%of ets suport?

But Can a club work without a 100%of ets suport? i take it vic u mean can it work if some do not use ets, yes no problem, as far as marking goes its a lot easier with ets, also taking off clocks, so no problem, it would make it a lot easier if all were ets, but no one is made use it, we had three not going to use it at first, but when they saw what it was like changed their minds and now have their ets for 2007,
