Most of my birds have had about 10 tosses now out to about 35 mls and were seperated on sunday and cankered on monday maybe another toss each for the cocks and hens and then let them see eachother for a few minutes on friday and in the baskets with both sexes (seperately) and we'll see what saturday brings us ;) All the best to everyone racing this year...Alan

Will be good to get started again ALAN , been a long wait but it will get the adrenalin going again and some folk will be pulling their hair out [ obviously you willnae ALAN ] waiting on the birds, but hopefully things will be okay on the day, know there might be some folk just waiting for a mistake to be made because of the way I criticised the control team last year but i know one thing we willnae be letting them up when the birds cannae see in front of them for rain and black skies, I have managed to get a contact at every liberation point plus a good few from on here so it will not be for the want of trying to get it right, so we can just try and do our best .

i would be more than happy to be in that position , all seems to have went really well, at this stage i would stop training , within a week theill be flying a good half hour am and a good half hour pm ,, with the month of may approaching , and hopefully a little heat in the air , i would have them doing an hour am and an hour pm [without training] for your open inland races , i would give them a 25 mile toss on the wed, back to a little conditioner in their boxes [wouldnt show them the hens the week b4 ]show the hens b4 they go to the open race, untill their sitting calm and quiet ,,, then pray ;D ;D ;D  good luck :)
