Guest Vic Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Was the goalie a Manure fan? Neville has never forgot where he made his millions, it's all over now. Shame on Chelsea. "Welcome to Anfield" on Tuesday.
Roland Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Was the goalie a Manure fan? Neville has never forgot where he made his millions, it's all over now. Shame on Chelsea. "Welcome to Anfield" on Tuesday. Hear Hear, and I hope we turn the screw tight andscrew them good and proper... Chelsea were our only hope to nick it of the Man u expletes removed ... so one hour later I continue, I begrudgingly say that Man U deserve the title, and open admit Sir Alex is undoubtedly one of the greatest managers of all time, even if he is a English educated Scot lol.
gangster Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 A SAD SAD DAY !!!!!!!!!! LOOKS LIKE MY BELOVED LEEDS UTD ARE DOWN N OUT...................................................
Roland Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 That is also sad... Where will Dennis be next season. Then Luton, were saved and resurrected, went great guns etc. Then Mike was informed that the team was being disintergrated and good players sold off.... Then they have the chek to ask'What's up, and happening'. So Mike - shouldn't really but would back him 100% and admire his openess and honesty says' PUBLICALLY 'Well what do you expect, you not only wiped the rug from under us, but sold the furniture wth the silver wear' AND wasactually making money for them.... Mind boggles.
gangster Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 yes lutons big mistake.... been on going at leeds sell sell sell to clear debts maybe we can bounce back.....weve never been down there before maybe champions next year.....well wishfull thinking eh!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Vic Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Anybody that respects football, will always have a place for Leeds within their hearts They ruled the roost for many seasons, and were respected on Merseyside, if not by the rattish half of Manchester. it is a shame what has gone on at Elland Rd.
harky Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Anybody that respects football, will always have a place for Leeds within their hearts They ruled the roost for many seasons, and were respected on Merseyside, if not by the rattish half of Manchester. it is a shame what has gone on at Elland Rd. yes i agree the irishman oleary crucified them sent them to the gallows he did where is he now to answer for their demise from one of the greatest to the almost forgotten :( :(
Roland Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 I don't believe that.... I result and they would have had European football again which would have eased their money problems... It was the money side that was their downfall after all!
Guest Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I don't believe O'Leary was to blame for for the downfall of Leeds, he inherited a good side from George Graham, and spent good money on some good players before getting the the Euro-Champions League. I think the fault lay with the board for not handling the club finances very well. It happened at Sunderland, without Sunderland having the thrill of Euro football! I am genuinely sorry to see Leeds go, and hope that they return quickly! I expect them to come back up as champions next season and will be putting a fiver on it, but whether Wisey is the man to lead them to it is another matter! Good luck Leeds, my commiserations to Gangster!
