Roland Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 You know, Johnny 11 does a cracking job, has a real mcCoy set up, and very quick and promt replies etc. And is more than very reasonable. Yes as is norm, many choose to ignore and promote the 'Names' and those earning a living out of it at our costs! Sure, they are good and entitled to make a living, that goes without saying, but how many have actually thought about, let alone use Johnny 11, a fellow pigeon flyer? I have twice, and am obviously more than satified and happy. I can't, really afford to sent to a 'Name' because it spouts another couple of letters behind their name - or their partners' name. Tests are tests! What the virus, or illness is and the cause looks the same whoever sees it, and with Johnny's sey up he will see a lot more. Qualified to understand and know what he is seeing etc. so why pay 2/3/4 times as much! Mind boggles, but that is human nature I suppose, give their money to a wealthier concern rather than use a better, and more cost effective person that is 'One of Us'!
Guest Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 a few years back i was having some trouble with my birds and i phoned the vets at the bush estate ,i explained what was happening to my birds and they asked me to send a bird in for them to do a P,M, on so i duly culled a bird and got my wife to drop it of at the bush estate , £36 pounds later they told me the bird died from a broken neck, :o. shocked i could not believe it phoned up and was duly told that this is how the bird died and the next time i send a bird make sure it is alive ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DAND THEY CALL TAMMY DAFTY ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Roland Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 No joke Sammy ... but you have to laugh at their stupidity!
maverick Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 the large animal practice is about two miles away from the s,a,c avian section , which only deal in avian species I know were it is jimmy i only knew about the place as my sons horse was in as you said the large animal part of the bush and i asked the vet there and was adviced were to take the bird by him. THE ONLY POINT I WAS TRYING TO MAKE WAS IF ANY MEMBER WAS GOING TO SEND A BIRD FOR A P.M. WAS TO MAKE SURE THEY SENT A LIVE ONE AND NOT AS I DID AND SENT A DEAD BIRD.
