what am i doing wrong sent two birds for toss yesterday 5 miles werent fed from night b4 still not home were am i going wrong then

have they been trained before? how old are they?have they been raced? are they broken birds or birds you bred yourself.

there ybs flying round hs for last two weeks brill flying realy good and had several tosses from field 3 mins walk from hs always came back no problem had a freind down yesterday he took them 5 mile down rd havent seen them since will they come back now or ar they gone in yur experience

what do you call brillant flying? not in sight when letting them out for an hour or so? young birds need to be flying really well and strong before training them mate. For me also way to early to be training ybs, my ybs bred in feb are only flying for 15-20 mins, wouldnt dream training them untill closer near yb season. I often take my lazy birds on short tosses like sillyness at the bottom of the street, trust me ive lost some from this distance, and you'll never see them again, you may get them back, but really need to know how was they flying before hand, i hope you get them back mate

:-/ agree with wiley, thay are y/bs thay dont need training yet  :-/ even thought thay are flying around fine dont mean thay will return well , ya need to have a build up to y/b racing, its not a  thing that can be rushed.Speck
