Bobthegas Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 Hi all, I have two 18 x 8 lofts 6 sections and i have been told to install fans in each section, i have a flat roof and dont like the idea of cutting into roofs as previous experience has shown that they always leak. Any Ideas? Thanks
ACE LOFTS Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 u can put them on the back or the side of the lofts like u would in a bathroom
cheq pied Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 boddie & ridewood does internal fans . they are quite expensive but really good i would certainly recomend them.
ch pied Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 scrap yard, mate, old car fan's. run for ever. hard wire them with a transformer or through a batt with a car charger
Dave A Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 dont use them to extract ive been told its better to push air in than pull it out
Roland Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 scrap yard, mate, old car fan's. run for ever. hard wire them with a transformer or through a batt with a car charger Realistic and sensible matey. Glad to see it. I have silent 7 inch fans that extract and blow through. Haven't ever had to use them as of now. But as I have a false roof, with a wire roof on actual loft, that would be idea in warm breezeless days. I also saturate sacks and left them on lofts tops. These are great for keeping the loft cool.... just run a hose upon them on scorching days.
