Beautiful day here in Portsmouth, a bit of a blustery SW wind but perfect visibility.

Went to the Portsmouth lib site this morning where 13 transporters were parked. Watched several thousand NW birds being liberated at 8.00 in very good conditions. Here's a few photos, will put more on later.

Credit where due! Looks like the north west combine. Some hit rain/hailstones others didn't. winning velocity in my club 1571. I reckon  over 1600 to win the  combine.

Nice to see more whicker than metal  containers. Whicker in my mind, is tops.

I'm in the North Wirral Federation and we race in the North West Combine. Our club winner is doing 1564ypm. Jones & Thomas look to have topped our Federation and they have slaughtered that winner in our club, they get about 3 miles overfly and are in the clock 2 mins in front of it so it should be a good un in the combine.
