peruzielofts Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 to day i had amtrak come to my door to collect another pigeon for a fellow fancier. when he knocked at my door he didnt know that i kept pigeons to, he then said you have a rat of the sky for me. i looked at him and replied that these are racing pigeons and very well looked after always given the best treatments and food that money can buy. i then took him round to my lofts and said now tell me that racing pigeons are dirty and rats of the sky. he didnt look at me kept his head down and grumbled somthing that sounded like a sorry and took the pigeon and left. i was strate on the phone to the office that sent him and put in the biggest complaint ever. the manager on the other end said he was very sory and dont want his drivers to give us bad publiserty as we pay them good money to get our bird returned and said he will be taking this up with the driver. well i hope he do just that we dont need people like that making remasks about our sport. peruzie lofts

Clarkey1990 Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 He was MESSING!!!! People have stereotypes on different things, as i'm sure you do. Fair enough he works for amtrak so he should be more careful with his words but he could of just being trying to make chit chat theres no need to try get him in trouble with his job over one statement he could have a family or anything. Someday you might make a mistake in your job and see how you feel.
Guest Greig the doo Drysdale Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Your quite right complaining about the driver from AMTRAK. If we done something wrong at our work there would be complaint made aswell eg: if someone was to get in my taxi smelling of sh** and I said to them about it they would be straight on the phone to the cab office and council complaining, same thing!!!!!!!
Roland Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Be careful roland he's speeking against AMTRAK ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D And quite right too :X Cheeky git wants a slap... I'd made him a nice cuppa.... be KEPT running to the loo, and in the mean time he'd be sitting on a sore a**E LOL...

Guest Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Agree, quite right to complain. Any company employee coming to a customer's home should be on their best behaviour, they are supposed to be ambassadors for their company. Hope his attitude towards the birds isn't typical.
