me Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 wot can you do if you have found out someone is racing a bird that is still in your name ? Did you gift him the bird is he racing it to get it started before its too far down the road? Has he stolen it from you? Is he timing the bird in ? Have a word first and foremost remind him he has not transferred the doo. If he has timed the bird and won pools or a good position suggest he should advise the club its his doo but he had forgotten he had not transferred it. Lets not try and get doomen into big bothe if its not necessary remember there are not many of us left!!

tskyes Posted June 12, 2007 Author Report Posted June 12, 2007 i gave the fancier 10 rings last year and i also bred him 10 cos he had a bad start too the season.
tskyes Posted June 12, 2007 Author Report Posted June 12, 2007 The reason i am pissed off is cos i had too go 3 hrs out my way (plus petrol money) to find out the bird wasnt mine. The guy who it belongs too was informed 2 days ago and he hasnt been anywhere near, not even a phone call !

peruzielofts Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 you should have mad sure they were transferd to him realy then
tskyes Posted June 14, 2007 Author Report Posted June 14, 2007 think i did enough giving him them in the first place dont you ?
Roland Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 tskyes a two edge thing, if lost you get the reporting to you.... then when coming well, he'll want to transfer tem, untill then not much you can do. out of 20 say 2 or 3 are god... He'll have to be real good though else he wont bother and just breed from them. I'd transfer the rings before the eggs have hatched in future, if there is another time...
tskyes Posted June 14, 2007 Author Report Posted June 14, 2007 there wont be another time roland, men like him spoil it for others.
Roland Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Yep ... But you will, like me and many others, keep doing and say 'Never Again'.... it's how we are...
