Advise please.

I had a stray bird in my loft on Sunday, i have phoned the regional secretary, who took my number and said someone will call.

Nobody has called to date, although this is a Scottish Union bird, can i report it to RPRA for contact address?

The SHU.secs number is 01698-286983,i would give her a ring.It,s allways a good idea to post the ring number up on here there is allways someone who can usually put you in contact with the sec.of the club where it,s from.

Bet that was the norm eh Tammy, wing stamp too large  to be contained on 20 flights.... Never known a SU Bird yet, - and no one has eitherin the three clubs clubs I belong to. And likewise at Fed meetings it is often bought up.... but perhaps they don't realise you don't HAVE to be able to read, let alone write, as you BUY a wing Stamp.... oh of course just twigged, Stamps cost a few pence to buy, so guess there won't be any after all lol.

Think we've covered this before, no identification allowed on OBs in Scotland, no wing stamp no telephone ring, nuffink, and nothing other than ID ring and ETS ring on any SNFC race bird, including YBs.

 

Different story with YBs in other than SNFC race. Got to be wing stamped. SHU YB list for 2007, front page 'CHECK PIGEONS WING FOR STAMP GIVING OWNERS TEL NUMBER' . Not shouting  ;D  ;D typed it as it is on the page.
