Guest TAMMY_1 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 What colour would u say this bird is ? when i bought it a few years back i was buying it as a chocolate meulman, disnae really matter what colour it is, but i have since been told by an" expert show person "that this bird would be classed as yellow if it was entered in a show, , i cant see how it can be classed as anything other than a chocolate cock.

Guest Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Hi Tam, I don't have any photos of them! The only way I can describe the colour is it is almost like a lighter coloured Mealy, but a noticeable difference in colour to a Mealy!

timbarra Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 hi the pigeon is a chocolate or a technical term for it is reccesive red, and the yellow eye on the pigeon is dominant and comes down through the meuleman pigeons from the line of the Hofkens, hope this helps have you bred chocolates from him, if not would you like to know how ?
