Guest Posted July 27, 2007 Report Posted July 27, 2007 mine was 14th fed ,i felt like id won the lottery..i felt sooo good about myself. the other members was hitting the fed now and again(being the most north club in the fed its hard to score unless the wind is right)..a week later i topped the fed by 22yrds....but it didnt give me as much pleasure as that 14th fed did.....although understandably i was on a high from winning the fed....paul

REDCHEQHEN Posted July 27, 2007 Report Posted July 27, 2007 In a channel race earlier this year, we were led to believe that we were 2nd club, before the times had been read off, and that we had been beaten by 3 minutes at club level. Hubby went off to the Fed, and I got a phone call from a fellow club member with the correct times - that we had won the club, by 8 1/2 minutes, we also topped the Fed and the section - so we were a bit gobsmacked, as we didn't even think we'd won the club at one point. never mind top the Fed
