Guest Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Is anyone planning on sending any birds to any one loft races this coming season (2008) if so which ones? Had any success in the past? Which do you think is the best value for money, odds etc (entry fee v's prize money) ?
Chris Little Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Edinburgh International One Loft Race for us and hiopefully a club syndicate too. Maybe Europa, still fuming though at the stupid additional race they had in 2005
Guest Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 yeah I have asked for a entry form for the Edinburgh International One Loft Race 2008, as I like the idea of that. The birds are been given a fair chance before you have to hand over the hard eraned cash!
Guest Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Yes i allways send to one or two 1 loft races and yes ive had some great results in the past including winning one and 8th in another 4 in the top 2oo of the europa i have allready sent my dep. to the rpra 1 loft ( BEST ONE GOING YET ) but i will be sending to the Edinburgh international 1 loft is is very good value for money and the fact that you only pay the bulk of your money after the birds have flowan 40mls plus is a great idea this race realy suits the small back garden lofts and i hope it can stay that way but we need to support kenny on this one so send for your application now or you might not get a place i here the rpra one is filling up fast alot were disapointed last year dont get caught out with this one

gangster Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 john boyds settibng 1 up over in ballyclare i believe, also there is andy galleys 1 loft race £250 for 3 birds all activated.................
Tenny Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 EUROPA CLASSIC BY FAR THE BEST WHEN YOU CONSIDER THE WHOLE PACKAGE, SWOL RACE SEEMS A GOOD ONE TOO I THINK . I MAY TRY A FEW THIS YEAR!
Guest slugmonkey Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Are these races open to all or are they only for residents of your area
frank-123 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 kaybee talking to him the other night his sounds good value £25.00 a bird if it makes it through the training then another £50 to go for the big buck's so edinburgh's one loft race for me
harky Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 have entered birds in every one loft race in the british isles this year and by far the best one got to be richard elliots south west one loft race with information from entering your birds right to the last race unlike the rest of them when the only information you get is once they start training .in my opinion theres not one that can touch this mans setup
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 kaybee talking to him the other night his sounds good value £25.00 a bird if it makes it through the training then another £50 to go for the big buck's so edinburgh's one loft race for me aye this sounds better bart, you only have to pay the lot after your birds are through some training because i think thats what must put some off, if you pay a£100 up front for a bird and it gets lost off the loft or in the first training toss it is a bit disheartening
harky Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 aye this sounds better bart, you only have to pay the lot after your birds are through some training because i think thats what must put some off, if you pay a£100 up front for a bird and it gets lost off the loft or in the first training toss it is a bit disheartening yes would agree with you here tammy sounds good to me its certainly different from the one up a running in scotland just now
