As someone has already intimated a letter to the two pigeon papers outlining what has happened and give the known names aka's at least he will not be able to use them.When you join the pb site why is it not compulsary to put your location for home or loft no (rpra,shu,unc or whu ) that way you will have an idea who you are dealing with -- just a thought

Totally agree, but we have to come up with some means of verifying a members status on the site rather than contact details

The phone book lists names and numbers unless you are ex-directory

also Coxy gave me and others all his details and still ripped me off

On pigeon chat  M.Lycett claims to have ways of finding out who you are and can take steps to having you cleared off the site,after all the calls to have the undesireable one removed from our midst how can they claim this - not being a computor whizz kid I am at a loss!!  :-/ :-/ :-/ ??)

how about if you are thinking of buying pigeons if they have a loft number supplied to you before purchase you can check with the rpra if its a registerd fancier if they cant supply one do not buy just a though what do you all think

your ip address  is your service provider who ever you get your internet with so if blocked would solve the problem but this is hard to do and if they did block it he could go one someone elses pc and sign up again or even use internet cafe,s to do his dirty dealings

My old OU email account was targetted somehow, and bombarded with hundreds of spoof emails daily, most of which were from "letters & numbers @ well known domains like yahoo.com and hotmail.com etc.."

 

Contacted some of those ISPs and turned out none of them were real clients of theirs nor were they genuine email addresses.  Can't remember the term for this, but it seemed common?
