That is not what I stated  ... the point was as you can well see that the Europeans are clambouring to get here, and not just the eastern europeans.... But we need another 3 million to put right the damage the last tory goverment did apparently... besides giving the jewelry away, they tried to force 'Private everything from Medicene to insurance... and STOPPED training Nurses / doctors / Dentist etc. etc. to important so called trained overseas 'Workers' for cheap labour... Have tried to get a dentist when in dire pain with a tooth ache!!!

Aside from the pigeons .i would stay away from the uk.There is work if your prepeared to look for it but a lot of competition for jobs now.(I'm in the northwest of England so it may be different in other parts).There is not as much freedom in the uk as ther used to be and you are taxed on virtually everything.But then again i am basing this on my personal experiance's of being born here and growing up with the change's happening around me.

On the pigeon side of thing's i would think it would be hard to get a better place .

If you do decide to come over try for a job on the Railway i dont think you will get a better job as easy

 

my brother was on £15 an hour doin night shift but youve got to travel a bit some times

Up a lot of the fishing boats are crewed by Philpinos now, $600 a month. The boats cant get local lads to go to the fishing now. There are a few Poles and Latvians aswell. The worry is where do the future skippers come from.

I think any part of the world is open to migration as is has always been, before we done it in sail boats now we do it by car or plane, we need skilled people and unskilled people to fill jobs

1  the jobs we are to proud or lazy to take, sadly abused by gang masters

2  the skill shortage because we educate then they bail out to foriegn climes seeking better lifestyles

3  global networking call centres

Anyone from this country has a hard neck talking of imigrants, we have in time colonised and conquered nearly everywhere in the world to the point the native people of the country are second or even third class citazens

America, Australia, Africa to name a few :(

The need is for more too! Though they pay £40 billion pounds into our coffers, we need another  3 million just to safe guard the pensions promised .... and of course soon - too soon , no one will be entitled to a goverment pension. Yes she sold of to her friends and then quit training needed posts, and still the private sectar gets more usage out of the NHS and Public raised things like Cat Scanners etc. .... Mind if private hey do at present  pay twice...

Simple equation, we produced the best coal in he world! Fact at £26 a ton .... needed £3 a ton to make it enviroment friendly and smoke three .... next believe it or not was germany at £56 a ton, CLEANED but the goverment subsisided that by £28 a ton Fact.... instead of substising ours by £3 a ton to keep half a million or more - in real terms over a million with knock on effects - she decided to pay them millions of pounds a week to throw them out of work! So instead of PAYING into the coffers they were taking out ... but she and friends and Co were investing overseas and making a mint. OUT of our suffering ... likewise the steel etc. etc. etc.

Agree with previous posts, Hogni. I'm sure UK is a good choice and no matter what part you choose to settle, you will be made welcome.

maggie devastated this country now we are seeing the effects of her torie goverments actions,schools in melt down uneducated kids crime out of control prisons over crowded nhs in melt down pit villages like ghost towns buy your own home we got you where we want you low wages ,so you got to keep your mouth shut or your out a job lose your home, or we will get it off you when your old and ill to look after you whilst they are making millions ,after they closed all the old peoples homes closed all the mental hospitals pits etc

 

 

now just think back only a couple of years ,the biggest threat to this goverment been brought down was by a bloke moaning at the price of fuel .the country nearly came to a stand still a few more days the goverment would have gone in my opinion.now wheres that bloke now the price has rocketed i have not seen him saying its now a £1.00 a litre for diesel . i wonder why ?

 

now global warming will be the next big thing to cause concern to the british working man we all thought the poll tax was a very unjust tax .well just wait till they hit us with this lot and listern to the dribble of sxxx they come out with .

 

we have three main parties in this country and all have the same policies all talk the same sxxx so wheres the change by changing the goverment
